Answer: SPOKES-PERSON
(Beautiful! A marvelous pun. I forgot to bring my ralis95 clue word database with me, so I’m not sure if any of today’s words are new, or not. They look to be old reliables, to me, but that’s just a best guess. Maybe, because, I got them all without any trouble. I do know that only the jumble for “press” has definitely been used before. All the other jumbles were new, to me. Another top-notch job on the answer letter layout. I don’t think it gave anything away. The cartoon does a fine job of getting the point across. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Was this one unusually easy? My normal source for the online printable/viewable puzzle, the Houston Chronical site, had problems and didn’t have today’s Jumble posted until late morning. So in the meantime I found an online java site. It took me 22 seconds according to the site’s timer; that most assuredly is not typical by some ridiculous time multiple.

Sounds like you were In The Zone, Art! 22 seconds is very impressive. My eye/hand coordination and my typing skills are not all that fast, so I doubt I could have bettered that. Nice going! — YUR
Thanks, Unc. I’ll sadly report that just getting the first fiver word today (Friday) took a lot more than 22 seconds. Guess yesterday was the equivalent of Bob Beamon’s long jump for me.
