(With the wee ones, it really –  usually – is like this.  Some of them are going to be dead serious, while some others – the ones who are there because their parents want them there – kind of lack focus.  These parents look remarkably – perhaps unrealistically – unfazed that their kids are so distracted.  I seem to remember a lot more screaming coming from the parents.  Maybe it’s because I was one of them doing the screaming!

All of the clue words were jumbled nicely, today.  The jumbles were all new, as far as I could tell.  “Dirty” is one if those words that spells out in alphabetical order.  And, unless it’s been added since 12/31/13, “buffet” is a new clue word!  If ralis95 is still out there, it might be time for an update, brother!  The answer letter layout was another good jumble, and made you work to get the answer.  Cute cartoon.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Hope Ralis is good, but just busy! Kids that age are beginning to understand winning and losing. The younger ones are such a hoot to watch. Grand puzzler…field day!!! Loved that. As far as I remember in school we never had a field day like they do now…where kids are doing whatever and parents are there.

I have it on good authority that ralis95 IS just busy, LindaLee. My kids did have a track and field day, in elementary school. Various races and tug of wars mostly. I always ended up with a sunburn! — YUR
