Answer:  BARGAIN

Stella Artois

(I guess Homer is going to have to develop a taste for Stella Artois, because I can’t see any establishment owned by Mr. Burns selling Duff Beer!  Can you?  Fun pun.  But, I think this would only qualify as a “gain” if Burns turns around and sells it for a profit.  Right now it’s just a bar steal, which is not to be confused with a bar stool!  Don’t worry.  I will refrain from telling that hackneyed gay bar joke.

There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbling was new to me.  I initially whiffed on batty.  I confused the Bs and the Ts, I guess, and wrote down TABBY.  The T didn’t help me, so I looked again, and bapped myself on the forehead!  It was only a coupla sips into my first coffee, so I’m giving myself a pass on that.  I’m betting that some of you had some difficulty with “iguana” and maybe even “ensign”.  The answer letter layout was fine.  Great cartoon too!  It definitely looks like Moe’s Tavern, and those are good likenesses of Moe and Mr. Burns.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  Today is my baby girl’s 23rd birthday!  She is such a great kid!   —   YUR

I have enjoyed greatly the second blooming . . . suddenly you find – at the age of fifty, say – that a whole new life has opened before you.”   —   Agatha Christie

(I think I’m still enjoying my first blooming.  A friend on Facebook said that I don’t look a day over 40!  I’ll take a 17 year cushion any day!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
