(Mmm!!!  Meat, meat and . . . more meat!  Homer Simpson would be in heaven.  I wish these were around – the states, that is – when I was in my teens and twenties, because I really would have gotten my money’s worth then.  I’ve been to two different ones, but I was in my late forties and early fifties.  Figuratively speaking, my eyes are bigger than my stomach nowadays.  I want it all, but I can’t handle it all.  The servers come around very frequently, and if you are busy eating what you’ve got, and/or you just don’t want to be bothered for a while, you flip your little signal disk to the red/pink – No Thanks – side.  When you’re ready for more, you flip it to the green – More Please – side.  Don’t be fooled into thinking that these places are cheap though, because that is usually not the case.  If your goal is to max out on the meat, I advise you to take it easy at their salad/antipasto bar.  They might also serve a kickin’ cocktail called a Caipirinha.  Be careful with these, because they can kick yer butt in a hurry!

We have a new clue word today, in “flawed”.  Our good friend, ralis95, will have to update his clue word  database for this.  All of the jumblings were new, to me.  It took me more than a few seconds to get “amuse”, and it is rare for me to struggle, at all, with a five-letter clue word.  The answer letter layout was marvelous.  I didn’t think it gave anything away.  It might have even been a little misdirecting.  Jeff’s cartoon did a fantastic job of capturing the character of these fine eateries.  Lots to like about today’s Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(This must be in the vein of:  forgive and forget.  It’s not always easy to forgive, but it usually can be done.  For most of us though, it is nearly impossible to forget.  Once you get past the forgiveness aspect you generally stay in a guarded state, like the Russian proverb:  trust, but verify.  Can we ever truly forget a wrong, or is this just a pleasant platitude?  Hmm.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
