(I would not be surprised if a good number of you struggled to get today’s answer.  I don’t think that it was easy . . . at all.  The clue words weren’t all that tough.  I mean, none of them were new, but they were jumbled well.  The answer letter layout definitely did not give anything away.  The two things that helped me get the answer were the second answer word’s quotation marks, and the fact that there were only three vowels in the answer letters.  There was a slight temptation to try for a word ending in LY, but that is usually less likely with short words.  The cartoon is cute.  The waitress is basic waitress, but the patrons look a little on the nerdy side.  The one in the background is eating something small.  Perhaps a slider.  And, the menu on the table looks like it’s in a computer-esque font, with the 0101 being a basic binary code, and an emoticon!  The guys may have served up small bytes, but I thought it was very satisfying.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Procrastination is like a credit card:  it’s a lot of fun until you get the bill.”   —   Christopher Parker

(It’s actually more like maxing out your credit card.  You can’t easily pay it off, so you end up paying it down over time.  Your credibility – like your credit score – gets stretched and devalued.  And, you end up paying much more – in many many ways – than what you thought you were getting out of it.  Listen to the voice of experience, nieces and nephews.  Procrastination can kill.  Sure, it’s a slow death, but it starts with your soul.  And believe me, it is easier to defibrillate the physical heart than it is the soul.  Remember this:  It’s only never too late if you start right away.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  This is a completely different Christopher Parker (the link below), but I thought this was interesting anyway.   —   YUR
