(Now, I don’t think this one was all that easy!  The answer letter layout definitely did not give it away, as it was a Hoyt masterpiece!  The clue words were all old reliables, but they were all jumbled really well.  The jumblings all looked new to me.  Knurek did a great job with the cartoon, lining up all the “gals”.  I like how he shows three of the ladies in line holding glasses of courage.  The quotation marks around the answer spaces told you it was going to be a punny variation of a simple word.  This might have made for a good Unclerave’s Wiseguy of the Day contest, but I don’t have the energy for those anymore.  I must be getting old.  I’m betting that a good number of you struggled some to get today’s answer.  Nice job, David & Jeff!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  I never pass up the opportunity to post a little *cheesecake*.  Hey, I’m in love with the female form.  I also dig that Alicia Keys.  A truly gorgeous, and gifted, singer.   —   YUR

The smallest deed is better than the greatest intention.”   —   John Burroughs

(Talk is cheap, friends.  We need to take action, even if it’s something small or simple.  Sometimes completing these smaller acts can inspire us, and give us the confidence, to try bigger things.  But, there is still value in the smallest acts.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
