Answer: LOVE WAS IN THE AIR
(When I first got all the letters, and tried to solve the puzzle, I was coming up with a big blank. The answer letter layout was that good! I didn’t spend a long time on it, but getting up and doing something else, and then coming back to it, made a big difference. There were no new clue words, but some interesting jumbling. I thought that “indigo”, “bushel” and “herbal” were fairly challenging. The clue/question didn’t set up what I would consider an obvious answer. It was the totality of the cartoon, it’s dialogue, and the clue/question which led me to the answer. Of course the fact that they didn’t call it a hot “air” balloon and they didn’t mention the word “love” also came into play. Not as tough as last Sunday’s, but still challenging.
