(Loved it. None of the clue words were new today, but they were all jumbled beautifully! All of the jumblings were new, from my perspective. I even had to back into “actual”. Not that I took the time to write out various combinations, because I wasn’t feeling that patient. It’s ironic though, because I – actually – use the word so often. Seeing the word “trump” is making me think of The Donald, because he has been mentioned as a possible buyer, or part of a group, that might purchase the Buffalo Bills, from the estate of Ralph Wilson. This, of course, makes me think of our old friend WIMPY, who we haven’t heard from in a while. I hope all is well with him. The answer letter layout was great too. If you didn’t figure out the answer from the cartoon’s set up you might have had a hard time just using the letters as they played out. Nice cartoon. The NFL draft starts next Thursday! I’m looking for my Bills to draft one of the three top Offensive Tackles. If none of them are available I hope they jump to the other side of the field and draft Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, a super Safety out of Alabama. Take care of those two positions and the rest is all gravy. Hey Unc- All is well..I would like to see Trump be part of the Bills ownership. Whether you like him or not I believe he can deliver a winning product. Hes a shrewd business man and whether we like it or not Football and all professional sports have become BIG business. Had trouble with actual as well had to back in. I found the final answer easy. I like your thoughts on the draft but I think we need a wide receiver as well. I just hope this kid Manuel can stay healthy We have yet to really see him play due to his injuries…..AHH 4 months till FOOTBALL….Until then GO YANKS…Have a Great weekend..WIMPY
Hey,WIMPY! My old pal! I’m with you on Trump. I’m just talking about Round 1 of the draft. I’m comfortable with our current slate of receivers, including tight end. But, there are lots of talented, and tall, WRs & TEs out there for rounds 2 – 7. I think their priority should be talent and depth for the O-line, to both protect Manuel, and to pound out holes for our runners. I’m pretty happy with our D also, with the exception of Safety. We need to fill that void that Byrd’s leaving has created. I love Jim Leonard, but unless you found what Ponce de León was looking for, down in Florida, I’m afraid that time and trials have taken their toll on the bravest little big-man. Leonard could be a great mentor for Clinton-Dix.
