Clue/Question: The couch had turned into a – – –
Answer: SLEEPER SOFA

Wake Up America, where is our middle class? End world poverty in the US! Get our people education, rich people take responsibility, believe in goverment, invest in social safety net, Zzzz don’t fall asleep! create new skills & virtue! (Photo credit: Wonderlane)
(The major difference being instead of a cat at the top of the couch, I have a dog who’s usually at the foot of the couch. But, my wife watches TV lying down on the loveseat, and she’s asleep within minutes. I sit up, on the couch, and snicker at all that my wife is missing . . . until I decide to rest my eyes during a commercial, or news promo. Either her getting up – to go to bed – wakes me up, or my own snoring does. Either way, we’ve both missed the ending to CSI, Castle, or Elementary, and have also missed a good half of the 11:00 news. Is it going to rain tomorrow? I don’t know. Did my Mets win? Beats me. Sometimes we even fall asleep during Person of Interest! And, that’s a pretty kick-ass show. We even fell asleep once watching The Avengers movie! And, that is a non-stop, explosion filled assault on the ears. It doesn’t seem to matter anymore. That sandman is one sneaky sumbitch.
No new clue words today. The jumbling was beautiful though. Both the jumbling of “afloat” and “elder” seemed new, to me. And, even though we’ve seen OUTPOR before it took me a little bit to come up with “uproot”. I liked the answer letter layout. Bunching up the Es and Ss like that made it interesting. I liked the added touch of the still-life, hanging over the couch. Very fitting. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. When Zemanta gives me a nude, I’m going to use the nude. Even if she’s a little out of place. — YUR
