(A very pedestrian Jumble, I must say.  You’d think that the guys would not want to start the week on the wrong foot.  Of course, it is a functioning Jumble, but I’m always hoping that they’ll put their best foot forward.  Not a real dynamic Jumble, but in the spirit of moving forward I think we should be proceeding to the clue words.  There were no new clue words today, but the jumbling was great, and they all appear to be new jumbles!  The answer letter layout was definitely working.  I don’t think it gave anything away.  The cartoon does a great job of executing the pun.  But, this is taking me too long.  I guess I’m not all that quick on my feet.   Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
