FINTU = UNFIT, DUNOM = MOUND, TNNITE = INTENT, KAAILL = ALKALI — Giving us: UFTONITNAAI
Clue/Question: His passion for high-calorie foods was – – –
Answer: INFATUATION
(You’d think that it might have been: IN-FAT-UATION, but I guess not! No new clue words today. They were all jumbled well though. We’ve had this jumbling of “alkali” before, and the “unfit” jumble is in alphabetical order. The jumblings of “mound” and “intent” look new, to me. I don’t think the answer letter layout gave away a thing. I struggled some to get the answer. Initially, I thought the answer was going to start with UN. I thought UNFORTUNATE, but there was no R and no E. It took me a while to see FAT, but when I did I remembered the word “passion” in the clue/question, and then it finally hit me. Did anybody else have a hard time with this? For those of you with the reduced Jumble, Jeff gave us a pizza, a huge cheeseburger, onion rings, french fries, looks like a plate of nachos, and some other sandwich . . . presumably a BLT! While in the background the waitress is carrying an ice cream sundae and what looks like another cheeseburger. Hopefully, those are for a different customer! And, the name of the place is Frydays! Tons of fun! Be well . . . try to eat a well-balanced diet and do good, friends.) — YUR
