Answer:  MASTERFULLY

(Timely!  Today is the opening round at Augusta National Golf Club, for the tournament known as The Masters.  With Tiger out and Phil nursing injuries, who will be wearing the coveted green jacket come Sunday evening?  Can Adam Scott possibly repeat, as only three others have done?  Can Jason Dufner follow up his 2013 PGA Championship win, and join only four other masters of the game?  Will the perennial also ran, Lee Westwood, finally win a major?  Or, will it be one of this year’s “favorites”, Sergio Garcia, Rory McElroy or Patrick Reed?  Or the youngster, Jordan Spieth?  All right!  That’s enough golf crap.  On to the game at hand.  The Jumble!

All of today’s clue words were expertly jumbled.  There’s something ironic about today’s jumbling of “betray”.  Something un-PC about the jumbling of “adrift”.  “Album” is one of our old favorites, but “slush” is a brand new clue word!  ralis95 can add that to his clue word database.  The answer letter layout was also jumbled . . . masterfully.  If you knew nothing about golf, and you weren’t up on current events, you might have struggle to unjumble today’s answer.  Nice cartoon, too.  I liked the divots on the tee!  Is that supposed to be a long par 3, or a short 4?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

We would rather speak ill of ourselves than not to talk of ourselves at all.”   —   Francois de la Rochefoucauld

(I think this would be better if he had started this with “Some” instead of “We”.  I know some – okay, many – people who behave this way, but I also know people who don’t feel that they have to talk about themselves.  Maybe Frankie wasn’t as self-assured as he led people to believe???  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
