Answer:  GROUNDBREAKING

(Marvelous!  No new clue words, but all were jumbled masterfully.  None that I struggled with, though.  The answer letter layout was a thing of beauty.  It gave nothing away.  The cartoon is a nice look back in time.  I’m just guessing that this was the 1930’s.  Does anyone know for sure?  Even though it was a nice long, 14 letter, answer, and the answer letter layout was well-jumbled, I got the answer immediately.  How about you guys?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Unfortunately, our local newspaper doesn’t run the SUNDAY JUMBLE. However, our local FOX station runs THE SIMPSONS, and in one scene last night, Marge tells Homer, “I love you, Homey, but sometimes you are like the Daily Jumble, a little challenging!” Take note, Jumble Jeff! A Simpsons sendup might be in order!

    Hey, burt!

Jeff is way ahead of you! He did not specify what day, but he did say that Homer was going to be featured in an upcoming Jumble. (He mentioned this on his Facebook page.) — YUR

We’re going to start going crazy on Facebook. We have a new app coming out in two weeks and David and I are going to start doing a lot more pr, this being the Jumble’s 60th anniversary year and all.
