Jumble Spoiler – 03/28/14

Visual Description:  Outtake from an old Doublemint commercials?

MBIPL  =  BLIMP,  HOVES  =  SHOVE,  FUNSIE  =  INFUSE,  NIOIDE  =  IODINE   —   Giving us:  BLMSHEIFSEDIE

Clue/Question:  When his twin brother started mimicking him, he was – – –

Answer:  BESIDE HIMSELF

(Wow!  A 13 letter answer, on a weekday Jumble!  That’s fairly rare.  All the clue words were well-jumbled.  All the jumblings looked new to me.  The answer letter layout was a thing of beauty.  I don’t think it made the answer obvious in any way.  The cartoon brings back some ancient memories for me.  Very cool.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I couldn’t wait to get on here. What a grand puzzler. Got the words right quickly….then THUD….oh so many letters and two long words. Studied it some, but then had to put it aside. Came back to the puzzler at lunch and circled all of the letters and caught beside and it clicked! If this is Friday’s puzzler, I sure wonder what is ahead for the weekend??!!

    LindaLee,

Saturday’s was a little anti-climatic, but I thought Sunday’s was a dandy! Hope you liked it too! — YUR
