Answer: MISSED THE COMPANY
(From the answer letter layout, I’d think that this might have been a tougher solve. But, the cartoon’s dialogue, and the clue/question, made it an easy solve, for me. How ’bout you guys? There were no new clue words, but the jumbling was nifty. All the jumblings were new, to me. I really liked the jumbling of “spiral” and “medium”. I almost went for DUMMIE, but that only works with an S as the plural of DUMMY. I caught myself before committing to it. Gotta love a girl who’s a fan of CBGB’s! If you have the reduced Jumble it’s what is on her T-shirt. Ahh, those were the days! Hey! Ho! Let’s Go! 1 – 2 – 3 – 4! Rock and ROLL! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
