I believe greatness is an evolutionary process that changes and evolves era to era.”   —   Michael Jordan

(So glad that that evolutionary process . . . evolves!  Very nearly a Yogi-ism!  Well, greatness definitely changes from era to era.  I’m not quite sure I’d say it evolves, but I guess that’s up for debate.  Jordan definitely was a singular talent!  Maybe not with turning a phrase, but certainly a Master of the Hardwood!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Sourdough bread.

(I half expected to see quotation marks and a hyphen, for this answer!  I’ve never had a San Francisco BAGEL, so I can’t tell you if they’re any good.  I’ve always heard that breads are always better on the East coast.  Something to do with the water’s alkalinity. Higher pH, lower pH . . . I don’t know.  I’m guessing that the exception  to this generalization would be sourdough bread.  That is something that San Fransisco is known for, although I’m not really a big fan of it.  I don’t like my bread sour!

Great jumbling of the clue words.  They all look new to me.  We have another brand new clue word, surprisingly, in “couch”.  Such a common word, but I guess just overlooked . . . until now.  One more update to the ralis95 clue word database!  Marvelous answer letter layout.  Very cryptic, indeed!  Cool cartoon.  Not sure if it’s from the Presidio, or looking towards it.  Looks like towards it.  There was a good late ’80s movie called The Presidio, starring Mark Harmon and Sean Connery.  I’ve only been to San Fran once, and it was SO foggy, that I couldn’t see a thing!  One day I will go back . . . for a better look.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
