Clue/Question: The couple’s Valentine’s Day was – – –
Answer: LOVELY
(I think Jeff is going soft . . . in the head! Sponsored by . . . K-Y Intense! Just kidding, folks. Hey, what is up with some of these commercials, anyway? This guy in bed . . . on his birthday! Or, that one with sexy middle-aged ladies pushing some medication for vaginal dryness?!?! I tell ya, those stupid Erectile Dysfunction commercials used to be about the worst thing on TV, but now . . . I don’t know, guys. I must be getting old.
No new clue words today, but some very nice jumblings. I really liked both “hymnal” and “enough”! The answer letter layout was fine, but the answer was easy enough to figure out, regardless. An: Aw, shucks! cartoon. I hope this makes up for whatever you did, Jeff! Be well and do good, friends. Happy Valentine’s Day!) — YUR
Grand valentine puzzler. Had to back into enough! But I got it all done. Hope all had a nice V day. We ended ours with an earth quake! OMGoodness…scared the bejeebers out of me. Seems the epicenter was in Edgefield, SC. And about those commercials…..good grief, really???? Who is in charge of advertising these days???
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY, everybody! Cute cartoon for the day of hearts. As for those commercials, hahaha! Next time you watch one for ED, notice how the camera keeps zooming in on long objects. Though I got HYMNAL quickly, I think some people might have struggled with that. Is it a new word? Oh, and I LOVE the Pompeii fresco you posted today. I was in Pompeii in 2010, but we never got to the villas, thus, I must return and check out that one. 🙂
Hello, lovely ladies!
Glad you both liked yesterday’s Jumble Spoiler. I hope to get to Pompeii, some day, Lesley. But, no. Hymnal is not new. It’s been used as a clue word before. I heard about your earthquake this morning, LindaLee! I guess they can happen almost everywhere, but I’d check into whether there had been any hydro-fracking, or other drilling, in the area. I think Mother Earth is trying to get this message out: ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

Fracking…..probably….a problem! I have lots to say about that, but we would need another entire website for all the problems it has created in a family member’s life!
Lesley, I’m thinking there is probably a website about the fracking issues!! Actually, in our area–no. But, there is a dam, and, according to the news peeps, dams can induce earthquakes (http://www.internationalrivers.org/dam%E2%80%93induced-seismicity) Who knew??? We do get some slight rumblings from time to time, but this, oh boy!!! This was something else.
Yes, poor mother earth.
