(This one has kind of a classic vibe to it.  Maybe not with this specific question and cartoon, but . . .  I’m sure some of the old Jumble pros know what I’m talking about.  Regardless of originality – which is difficult in these puzzles – I thought the clue words, were jumbled well.  Only “bellow” was notable though.  It’s one of those rare Jumble words that spells out alphabetically!  The answer letter layout was fantastic, too!  Good job on Mr. Hoyt.  And, the cartoon was very inviting, with the classic sinking sailboat on the horizon.  I’d love to be in the Caribbean right now.  I’m sick and tired of this Polar Vortex nonsense!  Although, today we’re experiencing the equivalent of a tropical heat wave.  It is all the way up to 35° F!  But, that is going to be short lived.  Tomorrow and Wednesday we’re expecting highs of 18° and 19°, with lows of 2° and 4° respectively.  I don’t even want to think about wind chills!  Be well and do good, friends. If you’re cold like me, try to stay warm.)   —   YUR

Cold here and snowing. At least no ice! But, this is SC….it is not supposed to do this. Poor birds….they have been eating up a storm. Great puzzler. Sleigh took a few. But finished it up and moved to today’s puzzle (28th).

This cartoon could lead to a jumble twist for the handyman putting on the “spare” tire for “spare” income .
( Most cars do not have the spare tire now. Just a spray can to reinflate the tire. )

Great cartoon and story , though .

Love a cartoon that does not have cold and snow .

Have a warm day , YUR

Hey! JT, my old friend! Long time, bud!

I can deal with the snow, but the extreme cold is really hard to take. It permeates the house! Today feels relatively warm, because it’s 24° and sunny!
