Answer:  RUSHING

(Cute!  The Jum Bowl, huh?  I think I have seen stranger!  Forget about the shameless commercialization of the bowls that many of us have come to know.  That pisses me off to no end.  But, there are some newer bowls out there that sound friggin’ ridiculous!  Dig this.  The BBVA Compass Bowl?  The GoDaddy Bowl?  The Belk Bowl?  The Fight Hunger Bowl?  The S.D. County Credit Union Poinsettia  Bowl?  The Heart of Dallas Bowl?!  The Beef O’Brady’s Bowl St. Petersburg?!  And, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl?!   You don’t even need to have a winning record to play in some of these “bowl games”.  What’s next???  The Petco Fish Bowl?!  The Kellogg’s Cereal Bowl?!  The Saniflush Toilet Bowl?!  It’s outta control!  So, why not the Jum Bowl?  Stop the goddamn world, yer Uncle wants to get off!

No new clue words today, but some nifty jumbling.  I especially liked “mogul”, “relic” and “chosen”.  Nice job on the answer letter layout too.  The usual great cartoon.  I hope the best for all of us in 2014.  Hey, we deserve it!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
