Clue/Question: The U.S. won The America’s Cup thanks to – – –
Answer: GOOD LEADER–SHIP
(I had no trouble with the clue words today, but the answer eluded me for a while. Maybe, it was due to the superior answer letter layout. According to my copy of the ralis95 clue word database “boldly” is a new clue word. It seems very familiar to me, but not with this particular anagram. I was thinking the middle word was SAILOR, but there weren’t enough Os if the first word was GOOD, and not enough Ss if the last word was SHIP. I thought I was having difficulty because I was dehydrated from shoveling too much snow. Maybe I was. Maybe I’m just getting old. Or, maybe this was a tough Jumble for a lot of you guys as well? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I figured on “good”, but I really couldn’t solve the rest until I had gotten all six words. I thought about “ship” and about “sail” for the last word. But what I didn’t like about this answer is that those are sail boats, not ships. Or is “ship” more of a catchall than I realize?
You’re right Uncle, it was a tough one. So, you can rule out dehydration and old age. You’re not losing it.
Bev,
You’re right about them being boats, and not ships. I think it’s just a matter of *artistic license*, the guys used to make the puzzle work.
Bill,
Thanks, buddy. Glad to hear that it wasn’t just me. Sundays are always a little slow, but I did see an extra 100, or so, views yesterday when I compared it to previous Sundays.

The jumble can’t be “good leader-ship” because there were no Ls in the circles. It makes sense though. Still going crazy!!
Mine was in the Greenville News. Maybe they screwed up because everything else lines up. Would not be the first time.
Jenn, I was just fixing to write the same comment. The Greenville News has once again mis-circled a word! In the word “boldly” the O and the D are circled! I had my husband check my completed answer against the answer in the paper because I could only come up with “Good Leader-ship” for the answer and didn’t want to keep working for a different answer if I was right. And, I didn’t want to come to the blog to see the answer in case I was wrong as I didn’t want to throw in the towel! Genius and sculpt were almost diabolical. Great puzzle guyz! LL
It wouldn’t have been so tough for me if the circle for CLEBHA was in the L spot instead of the E! I’ve wasted too much time working on this.lol
