Clue/Question: They watched the documentary about Great Britain’s south coast on the – – –
Answer: ENGLISH CHANNEL
(Well, well, well. If you had only an elementary knowledge of geography you probably could have skipped the Clue/Question altogether. The clue words were well-jumbled, though none gave me any trouble. Somehow, it looks like “highly” is going to be a new addition to the ralis95 clue word database. Masterful job on the answer letter layout. And, a fine depiction of early 21st Century life . . . in the first world. Who makes up the rankings of countries anyway? They always talk about third world countries, and they’re usually not too tough to figure out. But, what constitutes a second and first world country? Anybody know the formula??? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Major welcome back , YUR ! I hope things went OK for you .
It is mighty lonely out here in “jumble” word world without you .
I liked todays jumble cartoon and answer. A fun jumble indeed.
Thanks again,
Just JT
Yea Unc! Welcome home. How nice you had a good visit with Ralis. Maybe jumble solving could become a competitive table top sport, like chess with little timers and bells. Putting Ralis in my prayers.
What a great puzzle — the puzzlers were totally on the top of their game all last week. Grand, fun puzzles, like Sundays (still have Monday’s and todays to go).
Got stuck on some…but, totally fell into some of the correct jumbled answers by doodling around the letters and actually finding the right word in my doodles! Love it when that happens.
JT and LindaLee! Thanks for the warm welcome back! I meant to get the Thursday, Friday and Saturday ones, but some other things came up. I’ll try again tomorrow. — YUR
I liked this puzzle a lot. Of course, anytime we’re talking about London and Paris I’m likin’ it. And yes, first world…
Liked the word “stigma”, gave me a little trouble.
Thanks, Linda Lee, for your prayers. A lot of people around the world have sent them – and they have done good. As for your idea of a competitive Jumble sport – what a great idea! Just don’t let unclerave get at your table! I consider myself pretty good at solving the puzzles – but sitting across the breakfast table from the master himself showed me just how awesome he is. I got stumped on the second word, while he was already solving number 4. Then, while I still struggled with words 3 & 4, he proceeded to solve the Friday Cryptoquote in record time! I said before that I was trounced, and boy, was I.
Learned my lesson – not to go head-to-head with him again! I suggest you don’t, either.
@Ralis — I appreciate the caution. Quite frankly I would not go head to head with anyone. Sometimes it takes me a day or two to work one puzzle. But it would be a fun competition. And the crypto quotes….I get nowhere with those!
And you are so very welcome. LL
