Visual Description: An unstable veterinarian?
RAGCO = CARGO, HOGDU = DOUGH, ROSWOR = SORROW, RUYTEK = TURKEY — Giving us: CAODOHSORTRE
Clue/Question: The veterinarian with laryngitis was a – – –
Answer: “HOARSE“ DOCTOR
(Mighty fine, pahdnuhs! Some might compare this pun to the smell of horse apples, but I say: SNIFFFF. Smells like victory! Hey, if horse manure can be referred to as horse apples then I submit to you: deer grapes! Size and shape-wise, deer poop is on a par with grapes. And, you certainly see it in bunches! The next time it comes up in conversation, I want you all to refer to deer poop as deer grapes. Got it? And, don’t forget where you heard it first, folks.
No new clue words today, but the jumbling was decent. I liked “hogdu” as “dough” the best. Beautiful answer letter layout! Nicely spread out. Like manure? No, it was nice . . . and cryptic. And, of course, the cartoon was splendid. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
