A man flying a kite on the beach, a good location for flying as winds travelling across the sea contain few up or down draughts which cause kites to fly erratically. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

(Whew!  Get out the gas-masks!  With the absence of a strong breeze, the funk of this stanky pun may linger for days, chilluns!  Hey, what’s the fun of a pun without a little stink on it?  Some great clue word jumbling.  Maybe what we’re smelling is some expired sushi?  Or, maybe something dredged from the bottom of the lake!  Have you ever smelled Durian, friends?  It’s been called the world stinkiest fruit!  But, I digress.  The answer letter layout was good and cryptic.  And, the cartoon told the tale.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

It is the greatest of all advantages to enjoy no advantage at all.”   —   Henry David Thoreau

(Sounds like harmony to me!  Or, at the very least . . . parity.  Growing up largely in the ’60s and ’70s, I remember fondly when the playing field was a relatively level one.  It slowly began tilting, in one direction, starting in 1981 with the decertification of PATCO.  From there, workers’ rights everywhere began to weaken.  Couple that with the incremental deregulations and automations, that also began in the ’80s, and you see how the corporations and the wealthy were able to take over the entire game.  Now we’re a land – largely – of HAVES and have NOTS, our economy is in shambles and the Middle Class is a fading memory.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
