(A lot to like with this one.  All the clue words were jumbled expertly.  None were obvious to yours truly.  I actually screwed up twice on “scenic”!  At first I wrote down incess, then realized two things: 1. there were two Cs and not two Ss, and 2. Incess doesn’t exist on its own, only as part of incessant!  Then I said to myself:  You big dummy!  It’s obviously science.  Wrong again!  Seven letters don’t fit in six squares.  I knew the answer, so I was able to back into “scenic”.  It’s certainly not a new word to the Jumble, or a difficult word.  I just got tripped up on the jumbling.  The answer letter layout was great, but like I said, I already had the answer figured out.  The cartoon was brilliant!  Top notch!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

A grand puzzle!!! Ritual was absolutely diabolical. I fell into scenic. Did not have the puzzle answer until I figured it out, and that was no breeze! Yea Guyz!!! I am always amazed at how you keep pumping them out. Now when I see a good line in the comics I’m thinking in terms of jumbles … like, that would have made a good jumble!

I also jumped on “science” and had a “DUH” moment. DEPICT also gave me pause. I did correctly guess the word STAND had to be part of the answer and the rest fell into place. I guess the answer before getting the
words about 25% of the time.

That’s why I avoid looking at the cartoon, with the clue/question, until after I’ve tackled the words. For a lot of them the clue words are just a formality.
