Visual Description: A couple enjoying the wilderness.
PAROV = VAPOR, GIRRO = RIGOR, FRODAF = AFFORD, METLUB = TUMBLE — Giving us: AORIFFDTLE
Clue/Question: Their hike through the forest was great until their path . . .
Answer: TRAILED OFF
(I liked it! Good clue word jumbling, but the only one to take me more than a second was METLUB. Not sure if any of these words are new, or not. I thought today’s answer letter layout sufficiently cryptic. Nothing was given away. And, the cartoon paints a lovely rustic serene scene. The bonus clue was the elipsis at the end of the Clue/Question! Yeah. This works for me, on all levels. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
