Answer:  BEAMING

(I had to think a little to get this.  I guess it’s been a while since I’ve seen the show.  I saw the first of the newer Star Trek movies, but I haven’t seen the one that came out this past spring yet.  Chekov and Kirk look like they were just about to be eaten by something, Spock is looking as stoic as ever, and – by contrast – Scotty is beaming!  I usually think of a big, toothy smile as beaming, but he definitely looks happy.  Great cartoon!  No new clue words, today, but some fine jumbling.  And, an excellent answer letter layout!   Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I actually figured this one out pretty quickly. You just gotta love Scotty–he always was up for the challenge. I saw the new movie –much too loud which made the violence even more awful! I would have enjoyed it much more at home without all of the sound effects. Good story though.
