Yes, I agree, a good one, and challenging one! I figured out that the first word might have “scent” in it, and that the last word might end in “tion”. But I was still having difficulty. I noticed that all the passers-by were very interested and I knew that was probably a clue, and indeed it was.
Oh — and “truant” was a bear for me.
