(I tell ya, folks, sometimes it’s better being lucky than being good.  Even though I didn’t like the looks of it, I initially wrote down WARDON for the third word!  Just by chance, the circles picked up the three letters that I needed from the clue word.  Of course the answer was pretty obvious, and I probably could have backed in to “onward”, but still . . .
