“I would not waste my life in friction when it could be turned into momentum.” — Frances Willard
(It’s kind of funny. Ms. Willard was born just outside of Rochester, NY in the town of Churchville, while Susan B. Anthony lived the majority of her life in Rochester, NY. Both were well-known suffragists and active in the temperance movement. Frederick Douglas also spent quite a lot of time in Rochester. Hmm. There must’ve been something in the water there, back then. Great quote . . . for someone known as an activist! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
