Clue/Question:  The zombies’ boat was . . .

Answer:  DEAD IN THE WATER

(Initially, I didn’t pick up that Jeff was giving us the undead version of one of the scariest movies of all time.  I just thought he was giving us some zombied up version of some of his friends, or colleagues.  Maybe it was the size of the boat that threw me off.  But now, I clearly see Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw.  And today, Jeff didn’t spare the classic sinking sailboat on the horizon!  Yay!  The clue words were all jumbled beautifully.  I had some trouble getting “impede”.  Even more getting “sewage”, which apparently is a new word to the ralis95 clue word database.  And, I even had to back into “oriole”.  Great job on that one!  The answer letter layout was marvelous, but when it comes to zombies you just know the word DEAD is going to come up.  Top notch Sunday Jumble, guys!  I hope the rest of you enjoyed it as much as I did.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Interesting.  I suppose this could be true.  To me, though, it sounds like he’s over-thinking something that really shouldn’t require a lot of thought.  Many, many things require deep thought.  But, friendship?  Just take it as it comes, mah chilluns.  Like most things in life, there is no guarantee of permanence with friendships.  We all should enjoy them while we can.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
