TEBRIT = BITTER, BUMHAS = AMBUSH, NEBING = BENIGN, ROMELA = MORALE, SEBDIE = BESIDE, BACTOL = COBALT — Giving us: IAHNNMOSIDOLT
Clue/Question: Even though he didn’t have a brain, the scarecrow had . . .
Answer: A LOT ON HIS MIND
(I liked this Jumble a lot! Not only because it features a scene from one of the best movies of all time, but because it featured some marvelous clue word jumbling. Surprisingly, none of the clue words were new, but I got a kick out of the jumblings of “ambush” and “morale”. And, I had such a hard time getting “cobalt” that I had to back into it! Which was tough, because the answer was not all that obvious, to me. Great job on the answer letter layout. I don’t think it gave anything away. Great job on the scene from The Wizard of Oz! I always like it when Jeff draws movie-themed Jumble cartoons. That’s it. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I see your neat yellow brick road post. You left a comment but I could not find it to respond. I am new at this
Heh! I finally finished this puzzle and actually had time to post! I also backed into COBALT! Love the Wizard! Scarecrow was always my favorite! I miss everybody. I’ve had many yard projects which has left me no computer time!
I hope you’re covering up, doing all that yard work, Lesley! Before we messed up the ozone layer, the Sun used to be a little more forgiving. Now, she’s really socking it to us. And, don’t get into the habit of wearing sunscreen. The commercial ones are a toxic mix of chemicals. I know people in the pharmaceutical field who refuse to put that stuff on them. They know better. Just wear light-colored, loose-fitting, airy cottons. Your skin will thank you!
By the way . . . Welcome home, Sugar! We missed you!
