Visual Description:  Cold blooded detective, getting down to business.

KANEL  =  ANKLE,  OCTIX  =  TOXIC,  LAVRUG  =  VULGAR,  SHIRTT  =  THIRST   —   Giving us:  ANETOIVGRTIS

Clue/Question:  The crocodile needed help solving a case, so she called in . . .

Answer:  ANINVESTIGATOR

(Beautiful!  No new clue words today, but some great jumbling.  I really liked “vulgar” and “thirst”  Fantastic job on the answer letter layout!  Nothing given away there!  I liked the way Jeff drew the difference between crocodiles and alligators.  I always wondered, given the same age and size, which would win in a fight?  The bull-gator, or the bull-croc?  All I know is that I wouldn’t want to mess with either one of them.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

And the guyz hit another one out of the park! Grand puzzle. Got nothing looking at the clue words, had to circle them all to figure them out.

Had little run in with one of these critters a number of years ago on Fripp Island. We were in a golf cart heading back to a condo when we saw what I thought was a huge median in the road–it had not been there earlier. We thought maybe it was rolled out in the evening for some kind of intersection safety reason. As we got closer when rounding a corner heading up a steep hill, we saw the huge animal in it’s glory. It rather twitched, I was about losing it, dear husband wanted to turn around and get a picture. Well I did lose it and the hubby decided that maybe getting closer was not a good idea! Smart move on his part. Thank goodness it didn’t come after us. The golf cart would have been no protection from that bugger!

I wanted to see one in the wild in the worst way, when I was in Florida, but I had to settle for seeing a bunch of them in some kind of zoo setting. It’s one of those *watched pots* kind of things. Look for them and you won’t find them. Lose your golf ball and see what you find! — YUR
