Clue/Question: The hot-air balloon sank after they ran out of fuel, but he had a . . .
Answer: BACK–UP PLAN
(Not a bad little pun! It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen a hot-air balloon cartoon. Nice job, Mr. Knurek! No new clue words today, but I thought they were all jumbled well. I didn’t need to back into any of them though. The answer letter layout was alright, but it could have been better. You can see PLA, with an N just another few spots away. And, there’s a BA and a CK kinda staring you in the face, too. Maybe Hoyt was a little rushed on this one. I know he’s got a lot on his plate. Be kind to your fathers this weekend. If they’ve passed, remember them fondly. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
