Visual Description: The climactic scene from “Kingpin“.
GUHEON = ENOUGH, RUINJY = INJURY, REMTAK = MARKET, WASKUQ = SQUAWK, CATINT = INTACT, NEIDIV = DIVINE — Giving us: GHIRRTSKITCIIN
Clue/Question: He entered the bowling tournament in the hope of . . .
Answer: STRIKING IT RICH
(Very good! The guys know how I love the movie themed puzzles! Although I didn’t quite pick up on this one right away. Sometimes I kinda confuse “Kingpin” with “The Big Lebowski“. They’re both late ’90s movies, with bowling being the central theme. And of course, they’re both great!
No new clue words today, but there definitely was some good jumbling going on. I really liked both “enough” and “divine”. But, “squawk” and “intact” were also jumbled very well. The answer letter layout was good, but the answer was just a little too obvious for it to matter much. I think the Woody Harrelson – Roy – is a little more recognizable than Bill Murray‘s Ernie. The bowling ball should have been my biggest clue, but I threw a gutter-ball on this one. I guess it’s just not my day, folks. That’s about it. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Yeah. I opted for a different Kingpin. Great villain! — YUR

Perhaps this is an error in my paper only, but ENGLISH is given instead of ENOUGH for the answer for the word! Yes it is seven letters! I didn’t notice this until today.
I’m a longtime Jumble fan and have been keeping my own list for many years – mostly it agrees with the one used here, but occasionally we differ. For instance I show BRUNCH as being used during the week of 11/14 to 11/21/11. That was a busy week; I added sixteen new words that week!
Bob,
Your paper has the answer to the Sunday Jumble??? I thought most papers give the answer the following Sunday. Mine definitely does. (That’s why I still have time to get the Sunday Cryptoquote!)
David L. Hoyt says sometimes the papers will change a word on their own, but I think it was just a mistake of some kind.
Did you know that we have a regular, here, from SoCal, who also maintains a list for Jumble clue words. It’s our very own ralis95.
Thanks for contributing, Bob.

Hey! Unc, your response today is yet ANOTHER reason I check in here. I miss a lot of the references and love to read about them.
Our Sunday paper also has the answers to the Sunday Jumble. AND, our Friday Jumble is in color!! How about that.
Enough sure was not easy. The guyz are really coming up with some great puzzles!!
