I tinkered with the repeated two letter word, abandoning “or” and settling on “in” and then I got “and” and “the” correctly and things fell together nicely from there.
For me, it was the TH in THE, THINKS and ARTHUR. I wasn’t positive it was “thinks”, but I figured it was either that or THINGS. I was able to see “animals” fairly early on, as well.
