Brown Anole (Anolis sagrei) at Hau`ula Ahupua`a, Oahu, Hawaii. Original description from Flickr read: “Lizards Don’t Really Care… – that you’re using a Sigma lens, – that Obama’s on your island, – that you can save money on your car insurance with Geico, – and other things… I took this at a place called “Hau`ula Ahupua`a.” That sounds so cool, doesn’t it? … Hau`ula Ahupua`a… ISO 50, 1/160, f/4.0, Sigma EX 105 mm 1:2.8 Macro” (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Visual Description:  A suburban victory garden.

ROASE  =  AROSE,  SATEY  =  YEAST,  PRONAH  =  ORPHAN,  HYNLAM  =  HYMNAL   —   Giving us:  SEYESPAYA

Clue/Question:  Picking vegetables in their garden was . . .

Answer:  EASY PEASY

(Well, well, well.  The boys are using a newly popular phrase, of dubious origin.  I’m betting that there are a pretty good number of folks out there that aren’t familiar with it.  I know a lot of us know it from a Geico commercial from a few years ago, but how many of us heard it used prior to that???  Hmm!  I’m providing a link to an interesting article on the subject of the phrase down below.

No new clue words today, but a couple of them were jumbled well.  I thought “orphan” was jumbled  really well, “yeast” was good too.  The others?  Ehh!  The answer letter layout was very good, though!  And today, I think the dialog was the key to the puzzle!  It put the icing on Jeff’s cartoon.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Oh my word! I had easy peasy. I found that answer immediately. BUT, I could not find peasy in the dictionary or on my spelling ace, so I continued to rack my brain. I finally threw in the towel and came to our Unc for help. Or did I throw in the towel???? My guess is yes. 🙂 LL

After a good while of sub-par visit numbers, yesterday’s Jumble drew a lot of queries! LindaLee had an inkling, but was shy to pull the trigger, because there’s really no such word as *peasy*. I think Hoyt knows it doesn’t make for a legitimate clue word, but as part of an answer . . . pretty much anything – within reason – goes!

You know Unc, I didn’t think about the word “peasy” being in the answer and not an actual jumbled word. Makes sense to me. But thanks for spelling it out (probably again).
