English: Nymans Garden-Ode to a Grecian Urn. A daffodil crowded English garden, sun and shade, a bench and a stone urn to meditate. This is a perfect thought nook. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Visual Description: Helping to figure out the age old question: What’s a Grecian urn? (About 12 Drachma a day.)
ONLEV = NOVEL, YEDCA = DECAY, RALNEY = NEARLY, LUTOWA = OUTLAW — Giving us: NODCNEOUT
Clue/Question: The abacus was a success because it could always be . . .
Answer: COUNTED ON
(Unlike this blog! Sorry guys. I know most of these spoiler posts are entered pretty late in the day, but I’ve got to make some hay while the sun is still shining. Debts are immense, and most places are looking to hire kids, who work real cheap. Not handsome middle-aged wise guys, such as myself. So, getting up at 5 AM and eventually getting home around 7 PM makes for a tough day for someone in my age bracket. I’m sure there are plenty of other sites you guys can get your answers from, so I really appreciate those of you who are patient enough to hang in there with me.
No new clue words. I liked all the jumbling, but especially “decay” and “outlaw”. And, a nice job on the answer letter layout. With a Hanna-Barbera quality cartoon! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Unc, I would never fuss about what time you were able to post. I enjoy the blog too much. I am caught up. It has been a crazy and scary week…my mama had a stroke last Sunday and “we” are now in rehab. Many issues ahead. So it was a relief to sit down and play with a weeks worth of puzzles tonight. I’m going to have to look at the blogs to see what comments were made. My fave word of the week was “smooch” — never expected it!
Outlaw did cause a few problems tonight. Just couldn’t see it. Then, bingo!
Take care all…live happens when you last expect it! LL
LindaLee,
Dat’s cuz yer da best, kid! Give mama a big hug and kiss for me! She’s going to need your love and support. If you go AWOL I’ll understand.
