Clue/Question: He hoped that becoming the circus tightrope walker would be a . . .
Answer: STEADY JOB
(A lot to like about today’s Jumble. Decent pun. Fun clue words. Two of them were even new! Both “aback” and “choppy” are not yet to be on the ralis95 database. That will be remedied soon! The answer letter layout was brilliant. It led me to believe that the second word was JOY for a few minutes. Who doesn’t love scenes from a circus??? It always puzzled me how some kids are terrified of clowns. The funniest thing is that it often stays with them to/through adulthood. I bet a lot of them were frightened of Santa Claus too. Be well and do good, friends. I’ll make sure today’s spoiler doesn’t get stuck as a draft.) — YUR
