Clue/Question: The Rebel bowling team was leading, but players worried the Empire’s team might . . .
Answer: STRIKE BACK
(Good pun! I liked today’s Jumble, immensely. The clue words weren’t all that tough, but good answer letter layout. I like the double meaning in the punswer. As bad as hair-larious??? And, Jeff’s cartoon is a lot of fun. I love Darth Vader’s and the stormtrooper’s bowling shirts! Anything related to the movies is always good by me. Great way to start the week. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Haven’t seen such an early posting in a long time. You’re not home sick, or anything like that, are you? Hope everything is OK. Two new words today: CLICK and SICKLY. I agree the punswer was great.
I am always in awe of Jeff Knurek’s talents as an artist. He constantly amazes me. I think today may be my favorite of the Jumble cartoons so far since he and I have been working together. I love this cartoon! Darth Vader’s bowling ball is awesome!
Love it, May the force be with you.
Nothing is as bad as “hair-larious”, but that’s why it’s such a charming pun!
UNC- LOVED the Star Wars theme!!!! AHHH summer of 1977, saw that movie 13 times in the Fox theatre in East Setauket, N.Y The lines of people were around the block. Enjoy your evening. Wimpy. P.S September 8, 2013 BILLS/ PATS, at the Ralph. DON’T STOP BILLIEVING
@ Ralis95,
I was going to ask about YOU. Been a while, pal. Was getting ready to have Carol contact Pat. Glad you got a little kick out of *punswer*!
@ Hoyt,
Not sure how well the bowling ball came out in the newspapers. I can’t really make it out. What’s the novelty?
@ CW1976,
Thanks for visiting and commenting.
@ Dave,
Hey, funnyname guy! Nice to hear from you. How’s the blog going?
@ Wimpy,
Mmm-mmemories . . . like the corners of our minds. Lotta great movies in the later ’70s. (Bills 20 – Pats 13)

Darth Vader’s bowling ball looked like the Death Star. Too bad it didn’t come through in newspapers.
Ahh! Some may have picked up on it. I didn’t. I didn’t see any holes in the ball, and he was holding it kind of different, but that was about it for me. (I didn’t watch it as many times as Wimpy did!)
