Clue/Question: After seeing her former husband for the first time in years, she was not . . .
Answer: “EX–SIGHTED“
(Yeah. Not when your ex-husband looks like Ron Jeremy . . . today! Not that he ever was a real looker, or anything. If you don’t know who he is . . . you’re probably better off. Some great jumbling today. I liked all of them, but especially “apathy” and “oblige”. The answer letter layout was just alright, though. I did get a kick out of the cartoon. Hey! Wasn’t it great hearing from both of the guys today? It’s been a while. Enjoy the weekend, folks. Be well and do good.) — YUR

Good glory be….I probably should not say this…..but, I did get the answer to the puzzle, but I just got the puzzle when I read it here. Geesh.
I’m not 100% sure this is what Jeff was shooting for, LindaLee. This was just yer ol’ uncle’s crazy interpretation of the cartoon. I mean, this is a family cartoon/puzzle. Right?

I drew that while at a swim meet sitting next to a good friend who is still going through a nasty divorce. I drew her ex-husband as disgusting as I could. I like that he looks like a haggard Ron Jeremy. She’s as cute as I drew her.

I missed her not being “excited.” Did not equate it with ex-sighted until I saw it on the puzzle. But, then y’all may have gotten that from what I said. Just clarifying.
