Heh, everybody! This puzzle was pretty easy. AVENUE was the easiest for me, if you believe it, and it starts with a vowel. You know howI struggle with those words. Maybe it was easy because I grew up on an “Avenue.”

    @ David,

Very cool, bro. I only wish my newspaper carried Dick Tracy, so I could have enjoyed the synergy as it unfolded.

    @ Lesley,

And, maybe it’s because AVENUE is a popular/frequent clue word???

Good puzzle! Actually, avenue gave me pause!! So, we have it frequently???? Geesh, I just have not noticed. We don’t have Dick Tracy either…of course, because we don’t have it I figured it was gone! Glad to know we are safe and Dick T. is still going after the bad guy!!! We also no long have Mary Worth in our weekly paper, we do on Sunday. Amazing how you can still keep up…but then Mary’s story lines evolve very, very slowly! Not that that has anything to do with anything! 🙂 LL

You can find Dick Tracy on the Houston Chronicle site, aside from Sunday.

I stopped reading it a few months back; it had simply gotten too incomprehensible and strange for my tastes.
