Visual Description: “Here come old Flat Top, he come groovin’ up slowly.”
NOONI = ONION, HETEM = THEME, TUMEAT = MUTATE, FERSUE = REFUSE — Giving us: OONTHMMTTRFUE
Clue/Question: The polygraph test was the . . .
Answer: MOMENT OF TRUTH
(Wow! They closed out the week with Flat Top! Nice going, guys! Some great jumbling of the clue words and some so-so. We already had “onion” just a short while ago, and I think it was with the same jumbling! I thought “mutate” was the toughest word, but we’ve had this exact jumbling before. “Theme” and “refuse” were easier, but not nearly as obvious as “onion”. The answer letter layout was very good, and with 13 letters it could have presented a challenge, to some. Though, with the dialog and the Clue it wasn’t too hard to figure out the answer. Loved the drawing of Flat Top! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

What happened to the old Jumble artist? The artwork seemed to change a few years back & I was wondering if the original guy retired & passed the daily work onto other folks – Any info on that?
I actually found theme to be hard!! I thought we’d had onion recently, did not take me as long to figure that one out–and probably because it rattled my memory. Happy weekend!
@ Sean,
Henri Arnold, Bob Lee and Mike Argirion have been out of the picture for quite some time now. Can’t say exactly when Hoyt & Knurek took over the duties. They check in from time to time so maybe one of them will fill us in on the status of the former crew, and such.
@ LindaLee
Have a good one, LL!
