Clue/Question: After tracking down the stolen brooch, he had all the evidence he needed to . . .
Answer: PIN IT ON HER
(Classic gumshoe speak! I wonder where the expression comes from? They’ll never pin it on me! What is the etymology of “pin it on”? Does anyone out there know? Nice jumbling of the clue words, today. I especially liked the jumbling of “genius”. I had to back into it. Some days I just have no patience! Not sure if any of the words are new. I kind of doubt it, though. I think the answer letter layout is fantastic, today! No giveaways. I got kind of a 1940s vibe from today’s cartoon. Good stuff, Jeff. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
