I’m drawing a blank here today, friends. No “A” or “I” and nothing stands out as THE or ARE. I thought the first word was going to be ALWAYS, but then I couldn’t do anything with the fourth word. Even the author is doing nothing for me. Wouldn’t mind it if someone gave me a little clue to get me started. Not the answer, mind you. Just some kind of a hint. Until then . . . be well and do good, friends. — YUR

I was hoping YOU would have the clue for me! I am wondering if there is a typo in today’s edition …
Darn…i didn’t keep the answer, and it was a toughie. You’re right – the first word isn’t ALWAYS but I’m drawing a blank. If nobody chimes in within the next hour, I’ll tackle it again.
Yank my first message – there is no THE but there is a word that starts with those three letters. The next to last word is a preposition.
I was irritated at having a mere seven words with which to work.
this crypto gave me “problems” also

Good thing Art’s clue beat your giveaway, Carolyn. I’ll give you bonus points for the solve, but a big demerit for not being able to read. LOL!

Sorry.
Not a problem, Carolyn. Gotta love the enthusiasm. Just don’t make a habit of it.
