Trying to squash a rumor is like trying to unring a bell.”   —   Shana Alexander

(That doesn’t seem to hold back today’s “journalists”.  “Dirty little secrets.  Dirty little lies.  We got our dirty little fingers in everybody’s pie.  We love to cut you down to size.  We LOVE dirty laundry.”  —  Don Henley.  The corporate media sucks!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Visual Description:  Competition at the music store.

MILBP  =  BLIMP,  PENIT  =  INEPT,  HOXTAR  =  THORAX,  LAPTEL  =  PALLET   —   Giving us:  BIMITTHOAET

Clue/Question:  He wanted to buy the classic drum set, but someone . . .

Answer:  BEAT HIM TO IT

(Okey dokey.  Some nice clue word jumbling.  I liked “thorax”.  Looks like “pallet” is going to be a new addition to the ralis95 clue word database.  Decent, but not great answer letter layout.  Starts with a B and ends with a T!  That email thing doesn’t apply just to individual words, ya know!  Nice group of mop-tops, Knurek.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
