(From today’s queries it looks like more people are familiar with “pony up” than I thought.  Either that, or I have some competition out there.  That’s alright.  I’ve been doing this a long time now, and maybe it’s time for me to hang it up.

No new clue words, today.  It was nice seeing “opaque”.  Kind of a strange choice for just the letter P though.  Answer letter layout was good, for such a short answer.  The cowboy in the cartoon looks a little like Adam from the early years of Bonanza.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
