Visual Description:  Squared Circle of the Dead!

ARCKO  =  CROAK,  MEVON  =  VENOM,  GEDDER  =  DREDGE,  TENTIK  =  KITTEN   —   Giving us:  CAKEOMDDKEN

Clue/Question:  The zombie boxer’s manager told him to . . .

Answer:  KNOCK EM DEAD

(I liked it!  I think the guys have stumbled upon the perfect situation for Sylvester Stallone.  He can get together with George A. Romero and keep the Rocky series going on . . . potentially forever!  Rocky always sounded a little like a zombie anyway.  Boxing zombies would be awesome!  Rocky could throw a wild hay-maker, and his whole arm could sail across the ring.  Apollo could land a crushing upper-cut to Rocky’s jaw, and his head could go flying off.  Of course, Mick would just sew things back on between rounds.  And in the final round, when it looks like Rocky’s a goner, he’ll rally with his patented monster shots to Apollo’s mid-section . . . eventually punching right through him!  Then, of course, he’ll celebrate by eating Apollo’s intestines!  I smell a block-buster!  This could also revive the careers of Carl Weathers, Dolf Lundgren, and Mr. T!  A little bit of genre crossing can make movies fun . . . and profitable.  Cowboys and Aliens out-grossed the last two Rocky movies!  Think about it, Sly.

No new clue words, today.  Both “venom” and “dredge” used the exact same jumbling as before, though ARCKO and TENTIK were new jumblings for their words!  I think Hoyt did an excellent job on the answer letter layout for this one!  Nothing was given away.  And, Knurek is on the top of his game when he draws both zombies and other movie scenes.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
