RAWEY  =  WEARY,  TIBRO  =  ORBIT,  PANEWO  =  WEAPON,  HACTED  =  DETACH   —   Giving us:  RYOTWONETH

Clue/Question:  Mozart’s achievements were . . .

Answer:  NOTEWORTHY

(Kind of a mixed bag, today.  No new clue words.  Most of the jumbling was good, with the exception of “orbit”  It’s simply backwards.  Hoyt needs to hire better editors.  People who understand, and have a healthy appreciation for the game.  The answer letter layout was good though!  I did like the jumbling of “weapon”, and “detach” wasn’t bad.  AND, it was a nice long answer!  Furthermore, Knurek is at his best when he draws these period pieces.  Two of the things I love the most are music and history!  Very entertaining.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Mmmm . . . bacon!!!  An entire nobleman made out of bacon!  Those 17th Century guys really knew how to live.  DOH!  I wonder how Frankie would liked the 21st Century?  Hmm.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  WRECK ROOM

(Wonderful pun!  No new clue words, today.  The jumbling was great, and the answer letter layout was excellent!    Don’t know why some moms let their kids run rampant like that, just because it’s their birthdays.  Great cartoon, though.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

A good opening and a good ending make for a good film provided they come close together.”   —   Federico Fellini

(Does this mean that he is in favor of shorter movies, or that he likes good, long openings and good, long closings with not a whole lot of middle stuff in them?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  WEB ADDRESS

(Very cute!  Not terribly difficult, but cute all the same.  No new clue words today, but they were all jumbled very well.  In particular, I liked the jumbling on “wisdom”.  The answer letter layout was a HUGE IMPROVEMENT over yesterday’s debacle.  Great cartoon.  Don’t bother trying the web site.  I already did.  It doesn’t work.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  big HIT

(This one feels like the guys mailed it in.  The clue word jumbling was fine.  There was even a new word for the ralis95 clue word database in “stomp”.  But, even without the answer letter screw up this one could have been figured out by your average 9 year old.  Hopefully, the guys got the idea for this one from some nice kid.  Nice cartoon.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Mail your packages early so the Post Office can lose them in time for Christmas.”   —   Johnny Carson

(Finally!  A quote from The Great One!  I really miss the man.  And, the way talk shows used to be.  They used to be much more casual and open.  Now, they’re just about pushing stuff.  A new movie, a new TV show, a new book or CD.  It’s sickening.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
