Clue/Question: He was this when he lost the boxing match to Dracula.
Answer: DOWN FOR THE COUNT
(Great classic horror movie characters! We’ve got Frankenstein’s monster, Dracula, Igor, The Mummy and some bats, all in the moon-shadow of a dark and mysterious castle! All that’s missing is the Wolfman, the Bride of Frankenstein, and maybe the Creature from the Black Lagoon! Good stuff!
All the clue words were jumbled well, today. “Furrow” was somewhat difficult, because it was kinda hiding in plain sight! You really don’t hear the word all that much, anyway. There are two new clue words for the ralis95 database, in “update” and “extort”. “Update” gave me the most trouble. Probably because it both starts with a vowel, and is a compound word. I had to back into it! Luckily, I’m a big boxing fan, so the answer/phrase came to me, with the available letters. Knowing I needed the U and D made getting “update” much easier. The answer letter layout was masterful! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
