Clue/Question: When the Jumble creators realized they’d forgotten to turn in a puzzle, they . . .
Answer: SCRAMBLED
(“That scrambled word game!” For word-nerds, like you and me! This was cute. I try to use scramble and jumble interchangeably. I actually was able to figure out this answer just by looking at the answer letters. I didn’t even have to read the cartoon. When there’s only a couple vowels you just know your going to have consonant combinations like SCR. All the clue words were jumbled well, although none were new today. The answer letter layout was very good, but like I said above, it was a no-brainer for me. The cartoon gets the point across. I doubt very many of you struggled with this one, but it was fun. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
